The M.E.C.O Project

The Mediterranean Elasmobranch Citizen Observation Project aims to build a collaborative community devoted to protecting elasmobranchs [sharks, rays and skates] in the Mediterranean. Through data collection, awareness-raising, and sustainable practices, the project envisions a future where the public, scientists, and conservationists work together to secure a future for these vulnerable species.

What we Do
